The Manly Warringah Wolves are a community football club, with both Men’s and Women’s teams, competing in the AFL Sydney competition, across a range of divisions.

It was founded in 1969, through the leadership of Harry Marston. With now more than 50 years of history, the club can proudly declare it’s never been in a stronger state.

The Wolves launched its Women’s program for the 2014 season, culminating in its incredible Premier Division premiership in 2020, seven years after the Men’s side managed the exact same feat - winning a flag in their first year in the top division.

The Wolves play out of Weldon Oval in Curl Curl, one of the most picturesque Aussie Rules arenas in Australia (and therefore the world!).

RECENT PREMIERSHIP SUCCESSES

2014, Men’s: Under the same coaching group and a lot of returning players, the side was every bit as dominant in 2014, losing just one regular season game and blitzing their way to successive AFL Sydney Premierships, hammering familiar foe Pennant Hills on Grand Final day.

2020, Women’s: In its first year in Premier Division, the star-studded Women’s team capped off a dominant season, saluting in the big one against Wests at Kanebridge Oval. Under the guidance of coach Luke Slobin, the Wolves successfully navigated through a COVID-interrupted campaign better than most, to leap over the additional hurdles without fault.

2022, Mens Div 3: The much loved Peoples Team beat not once but twice in the finals the previously undefeated Wollondilly. The Grand Final was a match that couldn't be missed, Manly dominating across the field and on the all important scoreboard.

2023, Men's U19(2): After a near faultless season, led by Dean Schopen, the young Wolvies led their Club to victory in a jaw breaking, heart pumping final out West!
